Why IEISI Exists

Over 30 years of building national broadband networks and leading regional internet exchanges, I have witnessed a recurring failure: organizations treat technology transitions as operational problems when they are actually governance challenges.

I founded the Internet Engineering & Infrastructure Strategic Initiative (IEISI) because mission-critical digital infrastructure—from routing security to enterprise AI—requires ethical stewardship and rigorous operational discipline.

My mission is to empower member-owned organizations, mutuals, and established enterprises to scale securely, navigate digital disruption, and build sustainable internal capacity. I do not believe in creating permanent consulting dependencies. I believe in independent, objective governance that protects organizations, aligns technology with strategic purpose, and serves the broader ecosystem.
